John S. Swen
Mr. Swen has 30 years of experience working in the healthcare and information technology sectors. Prior to founding DocBill in 2012, Mr. Swen was Vice President of Public Affairs and Policy at Pfizer, Inc where he led the policy and public affairs functions for Pfizer’s $16 billion Specialty Care business. Mr. Swen served in Governor Lincoln Almond’s cabinet as Executive Director of the Economic Development Corporation and was a co-founder and Chief Operating Officer of Modex Therapeutiques, a Swiss-based biotechnology company. He was Vice President of Development for CytoTherapeutics, a Rhode-Island based biotechnology company, where he was responsible for clinical research, manufacturing, and business development. Mr. Swen started his career in California where he was Worldwide Sales and Marketing Manager for I-Bus, a start-up computer manufacturer in San Diego, and Director of Marketing for Tall Tree Systems, a start-up computer peripherals manufacturer in Palo Alto. Mr. Swen earned a Bachelor’s Degree in English from Columbia University, and a Master’s Degree in Information Technology from The Sloan School at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
David T. Fetterolf
Mr. Fetterolf has 23 years of experience working for healthcare information technology and service companies. Currently Mr. Fetterolf is President of Stratus Video, a leading provider of on-demand video interpreting solutions. Prior to Stratus Video, Mr. Fetterolf was president and founder of MDeverywere, which provides billing and practice management software and services to medical practices and hospitals. Under Mr. Fetterolf’s leadership, MDeverywhere grew to be one of the largest companies in the market with over 3,500 physicians using the MDeverywhere solution. Inc. 500 named MDeverywhere one of the 5000 fastest growing companies in 2011. Prior to MDeverywhere Mr. Fetterolf was the president of the physician office division at Datamedic, a leading provider of computer-based patient records and business management software and services for medical practices and clinics. As division president, he was responsible for the division’s strategy and financial performance, which included leading the marketing, sales, implementation, support, and manufacturing and development departments. Mr. Fetterolf earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering from Cornell University and a Masters of Business Administration from The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.
Zeliha has more than 6 years experience in financial analysis including as a Senior Financial Analyst at Ipsos, a global market research firm with more than $2.5B in annual revenue and offices in 85 countries. Zeliha led Synovate Turkey’s finance and accounting department integration process following the Ipsos acquisition. Zeliha also worked at Garanti Bank in Istanbul, Turkey where she supervised more than 800 branch managers across 22 regions evaluating balance sheets, income statements, and profit margins. In this role Zeliha developed a new reporting system, improving speed and accuracy, and developed a new performance evaluation system which improved employee responsiveness by tying success to clear metrics. Zeliha received her Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Design from the Istanbul Technical University in 2006 and will receive her Masters in Business Administration from the Sloan School at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in June, 2015.
